After years of intensive cooperation under the YOUTH IN ACTION program and more recently in the frame of the Eastern Partnership Youth Window we thought it was time to value and evaluate the outcomes of former projects, to develop new project ideas or proposals and confirm our commitment to develop more exchange projects for less privileged youth between EU and EECA countries under the upcoming new generation of EU Educational programs.
We therefore took the initiative to present a funding application to the Youth in Action Programme for a partnership building activity that took place in Baku, Azerbaijan from 09-15 December 2013.
The thematic focus was “Inclusive Youth Exchange”.
We jointly developed strategies and projects to enable young people from disadvantaged background, particularly from migrant and refugee communities to participate in Youth Exchange activities at European level. To enable a good and realistic discussion process and foster cross-sectorial cooperation, Youth NGO’s and migrant organizations were represented in the list of partners, which would like to be part of future Youth in Action (or Erasmus for all) projects.
